Ok, everybody pay attention: $3.8 Trillion, that's a thousand billions. One tenth of that would be 380 Billion, 10% of that would be 38 Billion. That's the "cut" Congress made. Now, each and every day we go another 5 billion in debt. That means that in the amount of time it took Congress to "save" $38 Billion, it was laready spent by the gov't.
You see, there was no cut. The Republicans, much to the chagrin of the Greene Opinion, the Tea Party and over 60% of people polled, did not shut down the gov't. Who won? The political elite. That's right, not the Dems, not the Republicans, but BOTH of them won. Why? Becasue they are the ruling class with some differences of opinion, but the major thing they both agree upon is to stay in power.
To them the budget, cuts, debt, deficit is all just a political football to kick back and forth while they line their pockets.
The only ones who really care are people like Obama, Schumer, Wiener, and their ilk on the far Left who want to destroy the nation and bring about a Leninist/Totalitarian State.
The only ones who care on the Right are the Tea Party Freshman and a few others, like "The Paul's", Ryan, DeMint (you know he's genuine, he won't even run for Prez) and their ilk.
Yes ladies and gentleman, $38 Billion was a joke, some accounting slight of hand, Boehner had/has no intention of shutting down the government, which is exactly what is needed, before it shuts down on it's own.
Butt, the people wanted change...ok, here's some FACTS ABOUT CHANGE:
The average price of gas in January 2009 was $1.83, NOW, $4.01= percent increase...119%
The average price of gold in January 2009 was $853.25 NOW, $1460= Percent Increase...71% (I told you to buy gold!)
The unemployment rate for Negroes in January 2009 was 12.6% NOW, 15.8% = Percent Increase...25.4% (told you Obama was a conflicted Mulatto with racist tendencies)
In January of 2009 there were 11,616,000 Unemployed, NOW, 14,485,000 = Percent increase...24.7%
In January of 2009 there were 2,600,000 Long Term Unemployed (more than 6 months) NOW, 6,400,000 = Percent Increase...146%
And, most telling of all, the National Debt in January 2009 was $10.627 T, NOW, $14.052 T = PERSENT INCREASE...32.2%
Now, I can hear the Liberals saying that this was inherited from Bush, BUT, may I remind you that Reagan had GROWN the economy by over 5.5% by this time in his first term. Comes a time you have to stop making excuses as the Prez, and, comes a time when the American people have to open their eyes, pay attention and do something before we lose our Freedom to these Commies.
That's my opinion.
